The Holga is a plastic camera that costs around $35 and uses medium format film to create unique images. Here are a few of my favorite photos taken with the Holga over the past year. I love it's magical look and the mystery of not knowing what you got until your film comes back. And I especially love how light and small it is to slip in my purse or even my coat pocket.

Frosting Cupcakery

I'm so thrilled for my New Year's Eve clients Michelle and Todd who have recently opened up a new cupcake shop in Chevy Chase, Maryland, called Frosting. The flavors are amazing, I think mine is still the peanut butter and jelly cupcake. Their new shop is adorable, with lots of whimsical touches and a fab 'Martha' vibe. And another of my brides, Abby Jiu, was the perfect model for a photoshoot of their creations. Be sure to stop in at 1 Wisconsin Ave for some yummy goodness.
