Admit it, you're going to get up at 6 am on April 29th and watch the royal wedding of Price William and Kate Middleton. We're hosting a little evening party the evening before to kick off the celebration! The event (for brides-to-be) is Thursday, April 28th from 6 - 8 pm at Hitched in DC.

Janet and Joel's autumn wedding at The Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria was whimsical, intimate and timeless. Their ceremony was followed with with a party at the fabulous Restaurant Eve. They both created personal touches that tied the wedding together: she designed the florals and used vintage ribbons, her dress was made by a local dressmaker, she found vintage Liberty of London ties for all the men, he strung her necklace as a gift with 18th century beads and surprised her with them that day. The historic setting, small guest list and perfect fall weather made for a wedding to remember. (And made taking photographs effortless and an absolute pleasure.) Congrats to Janet and Joel!
