We took these gorgeous photos at the fantastic Lynn Vale Farm in Gainesville, Virginia. I had met Andrea, who owns and runs Lynn Vale, working on several weddings together. Her floral designs are beyond beautiful. And making the shoot even more perfect, my bride Caitlin wore a vintage dress she had found at an antique store. I photographed their wedding this past weekend--a big congratulations to you two, I can't wait to share the wedding!

Early last spring, when I had just gotten back from India, I was having lunch with my good friend Lisa Schulz (who you may know as The Posh Planner). I was telling her all about the Taj Mahal, the monkeys running around everywhere and all the adventures I had been on. At the end of the lunch she said, "So what are you doing tomorrow?" I said, "Not much, probably just editing photos in my office." She replied, "Do you want to shoot my wedding?" ...."What, you let me go on and on and not tell me you were getting married tomorrow!?!?" Needless to say, it was a fun turn of events. The next afternoon, we lucked out and got a warm March day and I photographed her and Lamont's short, but sweet ceremony at the Carlisle House in Old Town. We hung out in Old Town and headed to Restaurant Eve for some drinks and a toast to their new life. Lisa is an amazing friend of mine and I felt so special to be at her side that day...thanks for letting me share their special story and enjoy!!
