I had so much fun shooting this wedding! The square photos in the post are all shot a 1962 Twinlens Rolleiflex. It was my second wedding with this camera and I got some fantastic results. Here's a few details and a few of my favorite shots from their wedding last May.
venue: River Farm, Alexandria, Virginia
planning and design: Pam Barefoot, Atrendy Wedding
flowers: Capital Decor and Events
catering: Well Dunn
And be sure to check out their Southern Weddings feature.

I'm so thrilled and so honored have my images from photographer Abby Jiu and husband Jamey's wedding featured in the Martha Stewart Wedding's Destination Weddings issue which just hit newsstands this week. The wedding took place at a private villa in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico and was followed by cocktails around the pool. Guests went down a spiral staircase to a tent on the beach (my favorite part) for dinner. They finished the evening with a party and fire dancers overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Their planners, Dazzling Details, put together the most fantastic event that was both elegant and rustic. Read more in the new issue and see their gallery online. Congrats and enjoy!

If I had to describe this wedding, I would call it "effortless whimsy"....it was an absolute honor to capture the day of photographer Alexandra Boule-Buckley and chef Oliver Friendly. Oliver's catering company, Eat and Smile Foods, served up some of the best food I've ever eaten at a wedding. Hope you enjoy all their personal touches:
